On September 15th, 2020, Lebanon Support hosted a webinar to introduce Daleel Madani to civil society actors in Jordan, its features and how to use and benefit from the platform in order to increase their outreach and enhance their collaboration with other civil society actors.

Dr. Marie-Noëlle AbiYaghi (Director at Lebanon Support) and Léa Yammine (Deputy Director at Lebanon Support) gave an overview of Daleel Madani clarifying its main objective of promoting accessible information about civil society, out of a belief in the right to information, and highlighting the importance of transparent civil society work. All the features of the platform were introduced in an in-depth manner, in addition to highlighting the benefits of registering which would provide the organisations and initiatives with an efficient way to connect with other actors in civil society in Jordan:

• The “Jobs” section allows organisations to post opportunities, and recruit new members with the ability to specify to applicants the nature of the job, qualifications required, and period of employment, among others.
• The “Calls” section allows organisations and initiatives to post various announcements such as calls for consultants, trainers, papers, researchers, and fellowship applicants. 
• The “Projects” section was introduced as being an efficient way for the organisation and initiatives to gain visibility on the projects they are working on, and attract donors, contributors, and experts.
• The “Resources” section was introduced as a space to showcase the latest resources and produced materials. The “Press releases” would also allow civil society actors to publicise their work and grow their audience.
• The “Groups” section allows organisations to join open and closed discussions on themes and issues related to civil society. The groups are an online space for discussion, a platform to organise concerted action, as well as a place to launch campaigns and/or collaborations. 

Dr. Marie-Noëlle AbiYaghi (Director at Lebanon Support) gave an example of a Lebanese initiative مساهمة بسيطة that managed to raise funds in a very efficient way using this feature.

• The “Experts Roster” provides a verified list of specialists across various sectors that can be contacted by civil society organisations, and initiatives seeking to commission expertise, knowledge, or a specific skill set. It also increases the visibility of the talent of registered experts, and showcases feedback and endorsements they received from members of the Daleel Madani community with whom they have previously collaborated.

The participants shared some insights based on their experience, and expressed their particular interest in the “Experts” feature emphasising its usefulness, in light of the lack of credibility in the modern recruitment processes, and thus such a feature could ensure efficiency, and reliability.

Throughout the session, various participants gave their insights about the challenges they are facing. They mentioned the duplication of efforts arising from the lack of transparency, and how this programme could help them in their work by providing accessible information about civil society.

The Lebanon Support team wrapped up the session by inviting all organisations and initiatives to register on Daleel Madani in order to strengthen cooperation, and enhance the civil society sector in Jordan. 

Daleel Madani currently has a directory of 621 local civil society organisations, from the region, including Lebanon, Jordan, Bahrain, Iraq, among others.

دليل مدني يجول العالم: محطّة في الأردن 

.في ١٥ أيلول/سبتمبر ٢٠٢٠، عقدَ مركز دعم لبنان ندوة افتراضية لتعريف الفاعلين في المجتمع المدني في الأردن على منصّة "دليل مدني" وميزاتها وكيفية استخدامها والاستفادة منها من أجل توسيع نطاق تواصلهم وتعزيز التعاون مع الجهات الفاعلة الأخرى في المجتمع المدني

عرضت كلٌّ من د. ماري-نويل أبي ياغي (مديرة مركز دعم لبنان) وليا يمّين (نائبة مديرة مركز دعم لبنان) لمحةً عامّة حول "دليل مدني"، مع توضيح هدفه الرئيسي بتعزيز الوصول إلى المعلومات عن المجتمع المدني، تماشياً مع مبادئ ومعتقدات مركز دعم لبنان عن بالحقّ في المعلومات، ومع تسليط الضوء على أهمية شفافية عمل المجتمع المدني. تمّ عرض جميع ميزات المنصّة بطريقة مفصّلة، بالإضافة إلى تسليط الضوء على فوائد التسجيل الذي يسمح للمنظّمات والمبادرات بالتواصل بشكل فعّال مع جهات فاعلة أخرى في المجتمع المدني في الأردن: 

قسم الـ"وظائف": يسمح للمنظّمات بالإعلان عن فُرَص العمل وتوظيف أعضاء جدد مع إمكانية تحديد طبيعة العمل والمؤهّلات المطلوبة ومدّة العمل وغيرها من التفاصيل.

قسم الـ"دعوات": يسمح للمنظّمات والمبادرات بنشر عدّة أنواع من الإعلانات، مثل الدعوات لتقديم الاستشارات، والدعوات للمدرّبين والباحثين، والدعوات لتقديم أوراق بحثية، والدعوات لتقديم طلبات الزمالة. 

قسم الـ"مشاريع": صُمِّمَ كطريقة فعّالة تسمح للمنظّمات والمبادرات بتسليط الضوء على المشاريع التي تعمل عليها، وجذب المانحين والمُساهِمين والخبراء.

قسم الـ"موارد": صُمِّمَ كمنصّة لعرض أحدث الموارد والمواد الصادرة. ويسمح قسم "البيانات الصحفية" أيضًا للفاعلين في المجتمع المدني بالإعلان عن عملهم وتوسيع نطاق جمهورهم.

قسم الـ"مجموعات": يسمح للمنظّمات بالانضمام إلى نقاشات مفتوحة أو مغلقة حول مواضيع ومسائل لها علاقة بالمجتمع المدني. تُقدِّم المجموعات مساحةً للنقاش، ومنصّةً لتنظيم الجهود المشتركة، ومكانًا لإطلاق الحملات و/أو مشاريع التعاون.

قدّمت د. ماري-نويل أبي ياغي (مديرة مركز دعم لبنان) مثالًا عن مبادرة لبنانية "مساهمة بسيطة"، استطاعَت جمع التبرّعات بطريقة فعّالة جدًا من خلال هذه الميزة.

"قائمة الخبراء": تُقدِّم لائحة مُراجَعة تضمّ اختصاصيين من قطاعات مختلفة، وتتوجّه إلى منظّمات المجتمع المدني التي ترغب بالاتّصال بهؤلاء الخبراء، أو المبادرات التي ترغب بالتعاون مع أصحاب الخبرة أو التي تطلب مجموعة محدّدة من المهارات. تُساعِد هذه القائمة أيضًا على تسليط الضوء على مواهب الخبراء المسجّلين فيها، وعرض التنويهات والتوصيات التي يحصلون عليها من أعضاء "دليل مدني" الذين تعاونوا معهم في السابق.

عرضَ المشاركون بعض الأفكار استنادًا إلى خبرتهم، وعبّروا عن اهتمامهم بقسم "الخبراء" تحديدًا، مشدّدين على أهميته نظرًا إلى الافتقار إلى المصداقية في آليات التوظيف الحديثة، وبالتالي يمكن لهذه الميزة أن تضمن الكفاءة والموثوقية.

خلال الجلسة، قدَّمَ العديد من المشاركين آراءهم حول التحدّيات التي يواجهونها. وأشاروا إلى تكرار الجهود الناجمة عن الافتقار إلى الشفافية، وكيف يمكن لهذا البرنامج أن يساعدهم في عملهم من خلال تسهيل الوصول إلى معلوماتٍ عن المجتمع المدني.

اختتم فريق مركز دعم لبنان الجلسة بدعوة جميع المنظّمات والمبادرات للتسجيل في "دليل مدني" من أجل تعزيز التعاون والارتقاء بقطاع المجتمع المدني في الأردن.

يضمّ "دليل مدني" حاليًا دليلًا بـ٦٢١ منظّمة محلّية من المجتمع المدني في المنطقة، بما في ذلك لبنان والأردن والبحرين والعراق وغيرها.

البرنامج مُتاح لجميع المبادرات، وليسَ محصورًا بالمنظّمات المُسجَّلة، ولكنْ أيضًا للبلديات والمنظّمات غير المُسجَّلة التي يحقّ لها التسجيل على المنصّة شرط أن تكون ناشطة وفعليّة وغير حزبية وتعمل في سبيل المنفعة العامة.
